Chestnut™ Ashlar
Chestnut™ Ashlar is split into random strips from Chestnut boulders, weathered edge and bed face. The coloring of this product is medium to dark brown chocolate and coffee tones.
With the Chestnut Ashlar full veneer the areas where the stone is split into an ashlar is the Sandy Creek color. Make sure the mason installs the correct dark Chestnut face out in the full veneer.
The Chestnut material is a fieldstone boulder located in the topsoil where it pulls its rich coloring. The Chestnut was tumbled and turned with the glacier giving them a smooth exterior texture. Some of the coloring in the Chestnut can cross-over into the Highland Brown color and vice-versa.
